    Dear ladies and gentlemen,

my name is Edith Michaeler. I´m working in the R&D department of the Austrian National Library on digital preservation.

I´d be very interested in attending one of your training courses (best the next one in London), respectively in applying for a scholarship.

On the booking page is written “…so DPC members can attend the course at no cost.” Does this mean that only current DPC members may apply?

Could you give me some further information on the conditions of the scholarship?

Thank you very much in advance
    Best regards
    Edith Michaeler

    Hello,
There are scholarships available for members of the Digital preservation Coalition.
Please have a read of the criteria for membership at http://www.dpconline.org/graphics/join/. There are three classes of participation: Full Members, Associate Members, and Allied Organisations or Individuals. Organisations can also sponsor Coalition activities, or projects and events to be undertaken by the Coalition.
We are considering palcing some content on-line as part of an e-learning initiative, would this interest you?
    Best wishes,

    Patricia
